Login / Registration Problems

Koders cannot currently send emails to Hotmail accounts. We are working on resolving this issue, but for now, the best solution is to use an email account hosted on a service other than Hotmail. |

It seems that the email is now being delivered (we fixed some stuff on our outgoing mail server). Please post a note if you are still experiencing any problems. Any isolation of potential causes would help the support process. If you are having problems with our invite system, there is a decent probability of it being put in the spam / junk filter if the URL included is 192.168.x.x or other similar phishing tricks. We are considering options, but the easiest way to share your URL is to copy and paste it into your favorite IM client. |

I can’t view my code files. After a search, I click on one of the files that I want to view, and I’m prompted to login. However, I always recieve the message “Network Connection Error” when I try to login. My web access is corporate proxy based, but the browser I’m using is already configured to access the internet. Do you have an internal proxy override I need to specify somewhere? Thanks for any assist! |

From the Pro Setup tool (we call it Kodebot) you will see the Web Service manager in the lower left (next to the index manager). If you click on either you will get a menu. Click on “Web Service” > “Configure” to access the proxy configuration settings. If you were using IE, it should of auto configured it during install. What version are you running (on the bottom of all web pages or in the About dialog of Kodebot)? And what browser do you have your proxy settings configured in? |

My proxy config for work is a corporate auto-proxy script, so it looks like this: http://proxy.ourdomain.net:8080/array.dll?Get.Routing.Script The proxy setup dialog doesn’t seem to support this style proxy config? At least, I can’t figure out how to enter it. I tried using: Use Proxy: checked Address: http://proxy.ourdomain.net Port: 8080 Then I stopped/started the web server, but I continue to get the Network Connect errors. I’m using Kodbot Version: 0.9.2161 and my license expires 8/1, but I still can’t really use it :< Thanks for your help Ben |

Hey Scott, I have assigned this case for some more research and you might be contacted by one of our engineers via email. As for the expiration date, we have a new version out there with an extended license. We have decided to extend the beta license until Sept 15th. You can revisit the link in your original email to download the latest installer. You will have to uninstall your current version, but please do not check the “Remove All Data” check box, or it will do as it says :) Sorry for the hassle! |

Hey Scott, it turns out that we currently do not support Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) and we have added PAC support to our feature list with a high priority. TO get around this you should be able to follow this manual steps: Assuming, their proxy config script is simple:
Let me know if this works for you. |
